The Hearing Care Partnership (THCP) are pleased to be working alongside D.H. Thomas Eye Care to provide hearing services across both their branches in Cambridge and Saffron Walden.
For the past 30 years, D.H. Thomas Eye Care has been expertly serving the optical needs of their local communities. Having worked closely with both Addenbrookes Hospital and Cambridge University, the team specialise in all aspects of Optometry and pride themselves in their ability to provide patients with a service of excellence.

Looking after both clinics will be THCP Audiologist Jamie Wray, whose career began in the optical retail sector. Jamie’s interest in audiology was piqued when he was asked by a training audiologist if he could sit in as a trial patient so the audiologist could practise his testing. It was from this moment that Jamie began working towards become more involved within the hearing clinics.
Jamie worked hard, taking on more and more responsibilities such as repairing hearing aids, completing his training as a Hearing Care Assistant in 2015. After gaining the necessary clinical experience, Jamie enrolled at De Montfort University to start his training to become a qualified Hearing Aid Dispenser completing his studies in 2017.
Since qualifying, Jamie has worked in both private clinics as well within the NHS, even working from prison settings. This vast experience has allowed Jamie to develop excellent skills working with patients from all walks of life. In late 2019 Jamie then joined The Hearing Care Partnership.
