The Hearing Care Partnership are excited to announce the opening of our two new clinics in Falmouth and Penzance, which will be offering a range of hearing care services in partnership with Reynolds & Slater Opticians.
The people of West Cornwall have had Reynolds & Slater Opticians looking after their eyes for over 30 years. Their current team has more than 100 years of combined experience in providing the highest quality eye care. Reynolds & Slater pride themselves on providing the correct solution for every individual, regardless of age, lifestyle or visual needs.
Reynolds & Slater offer a range of optical services including disposable contact lenses, OCT and Optomap scanning in practice, as well as a punctual plug fitting and Blephex eye treatment. They are also proud to boast a vast catalogue of designer frames across both their practices, with many customer favourites available such as Ray-Ban, Oakley and Ted Baker.
Working with the Reynolds & Slater team is The Hearing Care Partnership’s audiologist Louise Griffin, who will be offering a variety of services including:
- FREE hearing assessments
- Hearing aids
- Ear wax removal
- Tinnitus consultations
- Hearing protection
Louise came to audiology from a slightly different pathway, working within the optical industry as a qualified dispensing optician for a high street optical chain. Although she very much enjoyed this role, she then made the decision to transfer to audiology over ten years ago.
After qualifying, Louise gained experience working in the hearing department of another high street optical chain before making the choice to change tack and venture further afield, joining The Hearing Care Partnership in 2022.
“I decided to make the move to join The Hearing Care Partnership because of their emphasis on patient-centred care, which is something that I feel strongly about.”
Outside of work, Louise enjoys reading around her interests, cooking from scratch, as well as exploring the great outdoors and wild countryside of Cornwall.
You can book a FREE hearing assessment at Reynolds & Slater Opticians by calling the team at Falmouth on 01326 369149, Penzance on 01736 887424, or book an appointment online at our Falmouth or Penzance clinics.
