Haine & Smith Opticians has been offering expert eye care to the people of Wiltshire and surrounding areas since 1975, and now have 20 practices providing eye care to their communities. We are pleased to announce that they will now be collaborating with The Hearing Care Partnership (THCP) to offer an array of hearing services in their Devizes practice.

When co-founder and optometrist Sue Haine opened her first two practices in Marlborough and Westbury back in 1975, no one could anticipate their success. However, through the hard work of Sue and her teams, the group has gone from strength to strength, now operating out of 20 practices.

Haine & Smith Opticians constantly strive for excellence in whatever they do, going the extra mile to help retain their patients’ lifetime loyalty. Delivering a bespoke service for all their patients, Haine & Smith Opticians use modern equipment to conduct a thorough assessment of your eye health carried out by qualified optometrists. Also on hand are their friendly and qualified dispensing opticians, who will offer advice and help you find your perfect look.

Joining the practice in Devizes is The Hearing Care Partnership’s expert audiologist Adam Cleverly, who will be providing a range of hearing care services including:

  • FREE Hearing Tests
  • Ear Wax Removal
  • Tinnitus Consultations
  • Hearing Protection

Having qualified as a Hearing Aid Dispenser in 2008, Adam is a member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) as well as a registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). His extensive service in the hearing industry has seen Adam fit hearing aids in surgical, domiciliary and clinical settings for both NHS and private patients.

Adam has seen first-hand the effects of hearing loss and the related cognitive decline on family members around him, so he strives to help people improve their hearing, enabling them to live a happier and more fulfilled life. Adam joined THCP so he could give his patients the level of care they need.

“I am passionate about improving the quality of life of anyone suffering with a hearing impairment, and joining The Hearing Care Partnership allows me to spend more quality time with patients to achieve this. Not only does this allow for more comprehensive testing, it also allows me to use a more holistic, patient-centred approach to really understand the difficulties that someone might be facing with their hearing and help them find a solution”.
