Shalim brings a varied background to his role, having originally trained in engineering before moving into audiology. He holds a foundation degree and has also completed a BA (Hons) and HND. During his university studies, Shalim took part in a clinical placement in Gujarat, India, where he gained valuable hands-on experience working in both audiology and ENT departments at a private hospital.
He joined The Hearing Care Partnership for its strong reputation in delivering patient-focused care and its supportive approach to professional development. The team’s values closely match Shalim’s own, particularly the focus on quality service and continuous learning.
In his role, Shalim looks forward to helping patients improve their hearing and confidence, while continuing to build his clinical knowledge—especially in hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings.
Outside of work, Shalim enjoys reading, travelling, and learning about different cultures. He also keeps up with developments in health technology and likes to stay active with walking and occasional sports.
