Since graduating from the University of Southampton in 2014, Matt has worked within the NHS helping patients with hearing, vestibular and tinnitus issues. During this time, he gained valuable clinical expertise and a patient-centred approach to hearing care, which will be further developed working as part of The Hearing Care Partnership.
“Working in the NHS was rewarding, and I have gained valuable experience helping patients make informed choices which improved their quality of life. Making the move to The Hearing Care Partnership allows me to dedicate more time to each patient and offer them the best hearing aid technology that will meet their individual requirements. I am also able to provide continued aftercare and support to ensure patients get the best out of their hearing.
Outside of work, I enjoy mountaineering, snowboarding and mountain biking. My wife and I also enjoy walking our dog Miley.”
Very professional and friendly service provided by Matt Whettingsteel. The setup of my hearing aids after a full hearing assessment was done with great care in terms of both how well the aids performed and how comfortable their fit was. The various features of the aids and how they worked was covered in detail and all my questions were answered. Highly recommended service all round.

An excellent, personal but professional service from Matt Whettingsteel in Blandford. I have been wearing hearing aids for four years, but following a full examination, and micro suction by Matt, the replacement aids recommended, and now fitted, have given me back quality hearing. The follow-up service cannot be faulted. Highly recommended for anyone with hearing problems, and being worried about being pressured to buy. Thank Matt. See you in six months.
