The Hearing Care Partnership is delighted to be welcoming Melanie Gregory to our audiology team, joining us as Clinical Commercial Lead. She will also be working with our sister company, Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care, which provides complete eye and hearing care from their 34 practices across the South East of England.
Melanie has 20 years’ experience working with adults with hearing loss, qualifying as an audiologist in South Africa before running her own practice. She has held roles at William Demant’s Oticon and The IDA Institute in Denmark and, moving to the UK, more recently as CEO of The Ear Foundation.
Ryan Leighton, founder of The Hearing Care Partnership and CEO of Leightons, says, “We are very excited to be working with Melanie Gregory in her new role as the Clinical Commercial Lead for Leightons and The Hearing Care Partnership. Melanie will help to further improve our learning and development programmes, with an even stronger focus on person-centred care.”
“I am looking forward to applying all that I have learnt over the years” says Melanie, “combining my business and clinical experience, with my passion for person-centred practice and rehabilitative audiology to support The Hearing Care Partnership’s business and their growing team of audiologists.”
Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care is a third generation family-owned and family-run business, first opening its doors in Southampton in 1928. They have 34 practices across the South East of England, offering complete eye and hearing care services.
The Hearing Care Partnership was set up by Leightons in July 2017 to help connect market-leading audiology with independent optometry. It currently partners with 48 practices to offer audiology services from within their optical practice.
