Today, Monday 25th March 2019, we’re welcoming Christopher Nixon Optometrists to The Hearing Care Partnership. Their practice is located in North Yorkshire in the spa town of Harrogate. They will now be offering THCP’s full hearing services, including:

- Free tinnitus consultations
- The latest hearing aids
- Ear wax removal
- Hearing protection services
Christopher Nixon, the Managing Director of Christopher Nixon Optometrists, opened the practice in 1981 and now has over 40 years of experience in the industry. Chris is proud of how far the practice has come and all the staff that are so dedicated to providing the very best care. Their practice offers a beautiful and spacious setting, with the friendly team making all patients feel welcome upon entering.
The wealth of knowledge on offer is still delivered with the same unwavering enthusiasm that it was on Day One. The team aim to provide high quality eye and hearing care with each patient feeling as those they’ve had a positive experience, which of course goes in hand in with what we believe in here at THCP.
Our expert audiologist Salma Hussain, one of the newer members of the team, joins our Harrogate practice to head all things hearing.
Salma graduated from the University of Leeds over a decade ago, dedicating her working life to audiology within the NHS – both in the adult and paediatric sectors.
Having spent many years working in the NHS, building up her experience within audiology, Salma decided to merge her knowledge and skills into the private sector. Joining THCP, she felt she was able to offer high quality personalised care along with high quality hearing technology. Here are Salma’s thoughts on joining the team:
“I decided to become part of The Hearing Care Partnership team after being drawn in by their moral ethos. I am passionate about improving the quality of life of individuals encountering a hearing impairment, knowing they can place full trust and confidence in me to deliver high quality service that is tailored to suit their needs.”
