Hearing Care Assistant
Cigdem is a Trainee Hearing Care Assistant who brings valuable experience to the team as an Ear Wax Removal Specialist. She is trained in safe otoscopic examinations and a range of ear wax removal techniques, and has carried out numerous procedures, always focusing on providing safe, effective, and reassuring care.
Joining Leightons and The Hearing Care Partnership felt like a natural step for Cigdem. She was drawn to the organisation’s strong reputation for high standards, advanced techniques, and commitment to professional development. These values closely reflect her own, allowing her to continue growing her skills while ensuring every patient receives the highest level of care.
In her role, Cigdem finds the greatest satisfaction in helping people feel at ease, particularly those who arrive feeling anxious or unsure. Making a positive difference to someone’s day and helping them feel comfortable and cared for is what drives her passion for hearing care.
Outside of work, Cigdem enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, going to the gym, and cycling along Bournemouth’s beautiful beachfront.
