Hearing tests & hearing aid reviews in Darlington Town Centre

The Hearing Care Partnership Darlington Town Centre is located within Rees & Wade Optometrists, a family-owned independent practice with two specialist services rarely found under one roof, a dedicated dry eye clinic and a Vision and Learning Centre for patients with dyslexia and other learning needs. Hearing care is now part of what’s on offer too, from a free hearing test and expert ear wax removal through to bespoke hearing protection and tinnitus management support.

For over 50 years, Rees & Wade has looked after eyes in Darlington town centre from its practice on Post House Wynd. Beyond the standard eye examination, contact lens fittings and range of spectacle frames, patients can book a 30-minute dry eye assessment aimed at finding the cause of their discomfort rather than a quick fix.

The practice’s Vision and Learning Centre has spent over 20 years supporting patients with dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD, autism and other developmental needs, a specialism that goes well beyond a standard eye test. It’s this breadth of expertise, built up over five decades, that has made Rees & Wade a trusted name across Darlington and beyond.

With The Hearing Care Partnership now on site, patients can look after their hearing, their vision and, where needed, more specialist care, all in one trusted practice in the centre of Darlington.
