The Hearing Care Partnership (THCP) is thrilled to announce the opening of our clinic in the beautiful market town of Uttoxeter on the 28th February 2020.
Our hearing care clinic will be open in partnership with McCracken Opticians in their spacious premises in Church Street.
McCracken offers professional eye care as well a wide range of enhanced services, many of which are unavailable from high street opticians. Foreign body removal, lacrimal irrigation and an emergency eye clinic are just a handful of the services available. Along with their expertise comes their style. Catering for all ages, McCracken Opticians hosts an array of designer brands such as Ralph Lauren and Ray-Ban across their sunglasses, prescription glasses and sports eyewear range.
Set within a modern practice with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, the dedicated team go above and beyond to care for their patient’s eye health. Mark and Emily have over 25 years of experience, having met during their studies. They are joined by Jenny, an experienced optometrist who knows the McCracken practice inside and out, and Sarah, their Optical Assistant with many years of experience in dispensing and adjustments. Their highly qualified dispensing opticians are Ian and Nigel, with an extensive knowledge of lenses, coatings and frames.
THCP’s expert audiologist Shaina Mirza will be working within the McCracken practice to provide the residents of Uttoxeter with:
- Free hearing tests
- Ear wax removal
- The latest digital hearing aids
- Tinnitus consultations
- Hearing protection services
Shaina has a greatly developed audiological skillset allowing her to guide individuals through their hearing journey and give them bespoke follow-up guidance and care. Shaina joined The Hearing Care Partnership “because my passion for audiology is driven by the incredibly rewarding experience of taking the time to really work with patients individually and earn their appreciation. Effective communication and building a mutual atmosphere of trust is important. I love the fact that we can develop a customised, comprehensive treatment plan together, and the technology available today will only help in improving people’s lives, which is very exciting!”
