The Hearing Care partnership are thrilled to announce the latest practice opening in partnership with Edmonds and Slatter, to provide expert hearing services for the people of Leicester. The new practice will be located in Kibworth, joining our established sites in Lutterworth, Glenfield and Blaby.
Edmonds & Slatter, an independent optical group, have been providing the communities of Leicester quality eye care since they first opened their doors in 1986. The team pride themselves on their ability to deliver the highest level of service, and this is evident in their amount of returning patients.
Across all four practices the eye care is tailored to your needs, bringing together traditional service values with the latest in optical technology. Alongside this, Edmonds & Slatter also offer a broad but carefully curated selection of frames, individually recommended by the dispensing teams whose expert advice is always perfectly tailored to your needs.
Continuing to work alongside Edmonds and Slatter in Kibworth will be THCP Audiologist and Hearing Aid Consultant Grichma Trambaclal. She will be providing an array of hearing services across all four sites, including:
- Free hearing assessments
- Ear wax removal
- Hearing aids
- Tinnitus management
- Hearing protection
Grichma graduated in 2011 with BSc Audiology. For the last 10 years she has worked in NHS and private hearing care clinics, giving her a full exposure to complex hearing losses and tinnitus patients. This allowed her to give rehabilitation and offer hearing solutions to suit patient needs. During her time in private hearing care, she was part of the Hearing Aid Foundation Degree team, working as a clinical supervisor for the students.
During the Covid outbreak in 2020, Grichma volunteered for Project Gold as a Covid tester, taking her patient and clinical skills to help in the frontline, and in turn returning over one million hours back to the NHS during a difficult and challenging time.
